LKQ Oct 2026 · Strong Buy
LKQ Corporation (NASDAQ: LKQ) presents an exceptional cyclical turnaround opportunity, trading at $22.23 against our fundamental fair value estimate of $34.41, representing 54.79% upside and warranting a Strong Buy rating. The market has severely discounted LKQ shares due to acute, transitory execution challenges during a German ERP system consolidation that reduced Q2 2026 EBITDA by $50M, alongside cyclical repair volume softness in the UK and Benelux ($30M EBITDA drag). However, the market's distress pricing at 7.86x forward P/E overlooks the structural resurgence of North American operations—where alternative parts usage (APU) broke 40% and returned the segment to organic growth —as well as $40M+ in European headcount productivity offsets and durable free cash flow generation projected at $625M to $775M for FY2026.Latest published research · analyzed 2026-10-17 · current · sources aging
