VST Oct 2026 · Sell
We assign a Sell rating to Vistra Corp. (VST) with a fair value midpoint of $97.88 per share, representing -30.1% implied return from the current trading price of $140.02. Although Vistra demonstrates strong operational execution across its integrated generation and retail platforms, current trading prices reflect an excessive 43.1% premium to intrinsic value that leaves investors highly vulnerable to post-hedge power price deflation, peaker margin compression from battery storage, and debt refinancing friction,.Latest published research · analyzed 2026-10-04 · current · sources aging
