Biogen is a mature biotechnology firm navigating a profound portfolio transition. Legacy multiple sclerosis products (Tecfidera, etc.) are facing severe generic competition, placing the burden of future growth on recent pipeline launches, particularly in Alzheimer's (Leqembi) and rare diseases. The company trades at a notable discount to pharmaceutical peers (12x forward P/E), reflecting these transitional risks and the uncertain trajectory of its neuroscience pipeline.Latest published research · analyzed 2026-05-13 · historical · sources unverified
